Americas Cardroom offering Double Points in LSOP Satellites
Americas Cardroom is already a hot online poker room to play at these days because of the Latin Series of Poker (LSOP) prize packages they're giving away. But ACR is about to be even more popular this weekend because they're offering double points for their $40k Sprint Leaderboard through LSOP satellites. Before we get into the $40k Points Sprint, here is a look at the Main Qualifier satellites that will award double points:
Friday 7:30pm ET, LSOP Lima - One $3.5K Package GTD, $50+$5 buy-in (earns you 400 Sprint PTS)
Sat. and Sun. 7:30pm, ET LSOP Lima - One $3.5K Package GTD, $125+$12 buy-in (earns you 1,000 Sprint PTS)
Going back to the $40k Sprint Leaderboard, Americas Cardroom will give away $10,000 during each week in February to the top 125 points earners. Seeing as how this weekend falls under the umbrella of Week 3, double points that you earn in the aforementioned LSOP Main Qualifiers will quickly move you towards a share of the Week 3 prize pool. Considering the fact that the top 125 players from each week earn between $25 and $2,000, the $40k Points Sprint is definitely worth participating in!
As for the LSOP prize packages offered in the Main Qualifiers, each one features a $3,500 prize package that covers the following:
- $1,500 + $150 buy-in for the LSOP Main Event
- Roundtrip airfare ($800 value)
- 5-night hotel stay in Lima, Peru
- Airport-to-hotel transportation
The LSOP Main Event, which runs from June 6th-10th at Casino Atlantic City (Lima), is definitely going to be a big event because it will offer a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool.
