PokerStars European Poker Tour 2008 Tournaments and Qualifiers
Earn a European Poker Tour package for as little an entry fee as $7.50 or 500 Frequent Player Points from PokerStars Steps Sit & Go satellites. The package includes a seat at the EPT, your stay at a luxury hotel and $1,000 to spend in the meantime.
Your chance to win a seat at EPT Warsaw and the $11,350 entry fee or EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo and its $19,250 entry has arrived. This new series of Steps tournaments was added following the success of other Steps in the family of PokerStars Tournaments.
The qualifying structure of the Steps tournament is built to help contestants so that even if you don't win an EPT ticket, you can still win another ticket to the same step or lower steps. If you have more cash available you can even begin at Step 6, the final step, the entry fee just costs more money or more FPP.
Whether you qualify online and buy your seat directly, make sure you’re in Barcelona for September 10th to 14th, to claim your share of the prize-pool.
PokerStars Qualifiers Structure
The structure is as follows:
Step 1 entry fee is $7.50, 500 FPP or an EPT Step 1 ticket. 1st or 2nd place in this step earns you a ticket to Step 2. But don't fear because 3rd place gives you another chance at Step 1.
Step 2 entry fee is $27.00, 1,750 FPP, or an EPT Step 2 ticket. Finishing in 1st or 2nd place earns you a ticket to Step 3. 3rd and 4th place get another chance at Step 2. 5th place wins a chance to work his way back up from Step 1. .
Step 3 entry fee is $82.00, 5,125 FPP, or an EPT Step 3 ticket. 1st and 2nd place players win a ticket to Step 4. 3rd, 4th, and 5th places earn another chance to play at Step 3.
Step 4 entry fee is $215.00, 13,500 FPP, or an EPT Step 4 ticket. 1st and 2nd places each win a ticket to Step 5. 3rd place gets to try again at Step 4. 4th and 5th places get a chance to work their way back up from Step 3 and 6th place can start again from Step 2.
Step 5 entry fee is $700 or an EPT Step 5 ticket. 1st and 2nd places earn a ticket to Step 6. 3rd and 4th places each earn another chance at playing Step 5. 5th and 6th place each get a chance to work their way back up from Step 4.
EPT Step 6 (10 player) entry fee is $2,100 or an EPT Step 6 ticket. 1st place gets $19,250 to enter the EPT Grand Final at Monte Carlo. 2nd place goes home with $750.
EPT Step 6 (9 player) entry fee is $2,100 or an EPT Step 6 ticket. 1st place gets $11, 350 to enter EPT Warsaw. 2nd and 3rd place each receives $1,750. 4th and 5th place each receives $1,000. 6th and 7th place each receives $575.
