How to play & Win Video Poker: Strategy, plan, tactics, method, system, technique.
Video Poker (also known as 'the best game in the casino') has always been one of the most popular casino games. It combines elements of both slots and poker, and is one of the few casino games where you can apply skill to find a positive winning expectation. Playing video poker, unlike other casino games such as casino war or slots, requires a fair amount of skill and strategy in order to be played optimally. After some learning and practice you will master video poker and reach at least 99.5% payouts!

Skill and strategy: First of all, ALWAYS PLAY FIVE COINS. Second, ONLY PLAY THE MACHINES WITH GOOD PAYOFFS. Five coins are necessary to win the full royal flush jackpot. Even though the jackpot is hit on average only once every 30,000-40,000 hands, its payoff still comprises almost 2.5% of your total payouts. In comparison, straight flushes account for only about 0.5% of your total payouts.
Secondly, play only in paying machines with the correct pay table. Sometimes casinos set payoffs lower than the standard on some hands. Payouts usually appear on the machine's front. Don't be one of the players that casinos prey upon! Video poker strategy changes based on the rules of the video poker machine you are playing and its payouts.

Luck: Cards are shuffled and dealt according to an RNG (Random Number Generator). One author (Keno Lil) reports that in International Gaming Technology (IGT) machines there is an RNG chip (that is used to "shuffle the cards"). She further reports that the RNG chip performs 1000 shuffles per second. Probabilities for hands vary according to each hand's strength. For example, chances of receiving a royal flush are 1 in 40,390 (Jacks-or-Better), 1 in 41,112 (Jokers Wild), 1 in 45,281 (Deuces Wild), and 1 in 48048 (Double Bonus). Luck is a factor, but couple it with optimal strategy and you'll enjoy one of the best casino games for the player.

Video poker and Table Poker differences:

  1. In Video poker the House is represented by a machine and not a dealer.
Also, the Video Poker machine does not try to beat you.
  2. You don’t have to consider what is the other player's when playing against other players.
  3. You don't need to bluff.
  4. You do not run the risk of being beaten by another player. If you have a strong hand - you win. In table Poker, you might lose to another player, no matter how strong your hand is.
  5. The right decision in Video Poker may be a big mistake in table Poker.
Cards that are good to hold in Video poker may be bad to keep in table Poker and vice versa.
