Blackjack – live multi and single table online blackjack games
Tired of playing that dusty-old blackjack against the house (and the house edge) in every online casino? PartyPoker has something radically new for you. Even though poker is and will remain their flagship game, Party Poker sees nothing wrong with offering its players something, which is a little bit different, every now and then.
Certainly, more poker rooms out there offer blackjack, but I have yet to hear of one that offers live multi-player and multi-hand blackjack.
The object of the game is the same as in every blackjack game. Get the sum of your cards as close to 21 as possible (closer than anyone else) without going over it, and you win.
Certainly, basic strategy can take you a long way in this game, and card-counting can take you even further. Before you jump on the opportunity though, you may want to know that Party Poker’s blackjack room uses 8 decks of cards (52 in each), and decks are re-shuffled after 20% of the cards have left them.
PartyPoker features a separate lobby for their Blackjack section. It looks a lot like a regular poker lobby, in which you can select and sort tables according to certain criteria. Each multi-hand multi-player blackjack table has 5 seats available and players will be able to join these tables by double clicking on them. To take a seat or two (you can actually occupy several seats at a table) you simply need to click on the available seat.
Once you buy in to the table, you can place your bet(s) by clicking on the bet-area, and then you have to click “deal”.
No cards will be dealt until everyone has clicked their “deal button”. To keep things smooth, there is a global timer that will initiate the game once it reaches 0, regardless of the players’ actions.
In every other way, the game works as regular casino Blackjack, with the same rules and gameplay.
