$15 million was won back in February in the Full Tilt Online Poker Series XI, and the 25 event schedule was met with approval and success as more than 50,000 players took part, encompassing the spectrum of online poker play. The 12th series will also see 25 events in addition to the MiniFTOPS. The series will get underway on Wednesday May 6th at 21.00 ET with a $200 + $16 No Limit Hold'em, $1 million guaranteed event, the satellites for which will run on the day of and the day before. In total there will be a guaranteed prize pool across the 25 events of $18 million; up on the last series by three million. The biggest individual event guaranteed prize-pool is $2.5 million for the main event which has a $500 buy-in and gets started on May 17th. The event last year exceeded its guaranteed prize pool by 140,000 and was won by Adam "csimmsux" Geyer who beat the other 5286 contenders for the $446,056.62 first place prize.

The MINIFTOPS will run concurrently to the regular FTOPS offering a chance at the action, for considerably less money. There is $2 million in MINIFTOPS guaranteed prize money, and the appearance of the series looks exactly like the FTOPS schedule except for the buy-ins; they're all 1/10 of the price!
