The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure has become one of the biggest annual poker tournament events in the world. And the 2012 PCA was certainly no exception since there were plenty of great stories throughout this past week. That said, here's a look at some of the biggest stories from the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure.

John Dibella wins 2012 PCA Main Event

Past years have seen several known poker pros win the PCA Main Event, so it was quite a surprise to see amateur player John Dibella reigning supreme this year. However, the career stock trader showed the fortitude of a long-time pro after surviving a very tough field to win the PCA title and $1,775,000 in cash.

Dibella, who came onto the final table fifth in chips, worked his way into a heads-up match with Kyle Julius. Because the two Americans were close in chips, they decided to equally split $3 million of the remaining money, and play for the last $225,000. Dibella made the heads-up match look quite easy, and he walked away with the win. Here are the final table results:

1. John Dibella (USA) - $1,775,000
2. Kyle Julius (USA) - $1,500,000
3. Faraz Jaka (USA) - $755,000
4. Xuan Liu (Canada) - $600,000
5. Mark Drover (Canada) - $468,000
6. Anthony Gregg (USA) - $364,000
7. David Bernstein (Canada) - $260,000
8. Ruben Visser (Netherlands) - $156,600

PCA $25,000 High Roller

For a high stakes tournament, the 2012 PCA High Roller drew a decent crowd with 148 players. And it was Russian player Leonid Bilokur who shined the brightest in this crowd as he won the $25k buy-in poker tournament along with $1,134,930. Bilokur beat 2010 WSOP Main Event champion Jonathan Duhamel heads-up to win the event as you can see from the final table results:

1. Leonid Bilokur (Russia) - $1,134,930
2. Jonathan Duhamel (Canada) - $634,550
3. Isaac Haxton (USA) - $380,730
4. Jason Koon (USA) - $271,950
5. Nicolas Fierro (Chile) - $217,560
6. Govert Metaal (The Netherlands) - $181,300
7. Michael Telker (USA) - $145,040
8. Randy Lew (USA) - $108,780
