Ultimate Bet ‘army’ set to invade WSOP Main Event

I’ve always known that high stakes poker was supposed to be like warfare, but Ultimate Bet has finally made it all official. The popular poker room will send an ‘army’ of highly skilled poker professionals and amateurs into the line of fire at the Big Dance. Did I forget to mention that this army was also highly motivated? Big mistake. While pretty much everyone who’s anyone in the online poker world offers some sort of special rewards for affiliated players in the Main Event, Ultimate Bet has taken all the different reward schemes, molded them into theirs, and spiced things up with a bit of a personal touch. In order to qualify for the Ultimate Bet army, all one needs to do is win one of the seats offered by Ultimate Bet, and opportunities do indeed abound.
On top of the prize-pool offered by the Main Event (however much that may be) Ultimate Bet army members will compete for a share of an additional $20 million in prizes. That’s right, $20 million, as in one third of the total prize-pool of about $60 million that the Main Event awarded to players last year.
Players who qualify through Ultimate Bet’s online satellite system will be greeted at the Ultimate Bet barracks at the scene of the Main Event. They’ll get UB dog-tags, and fatigues, apparel which they’ll have to wear all through the Main Event to qualify for the promotion. Of course, the bulk of the prize-pool will be taken by those who reach the final table, but those who don’t will get plenty of opportunities as well. Special top secret missions shall be given to all UB players (which may consist in the busting out of a player sent by a competing online poker room), missions which shall be lavishly rewarded.
The Ultimate Bet professionals will be present at the event too (look for Phil Hellmuth) and 25% of what they make in the Main Event shall be distributed among Ultimate Bet army grunts.
If you want to drastically increase your WSOP Main Event EV, qualify through Ultimate Bet today.
