Full Tilt Poker introduces Rush Poker Game
Full Tilt Poker is always on the move, always looking to secure an edge over competitor PokerStars and this time it looks like they may have landed a huge punch. The Rush Poker game they introduced is meant to eliminate downtimes completely from the game. As soon as players hit the fold button, they’re whisked to another table where they’re immediately dealt into a hand. Thus, players will play every single hand against different opponents.
The Rush Poker games can already be found in Full Tilt’s lobby, both in the Standard and the Basic versions. In the standard version, check out the “Browse” section on top of the main lobby. Choose Rush Poker there and then proceed to set your filters. Once all the filters are set, a list of the games corresponding to your search filter settings appears. Pick a game from there and double click it to get to the game lobby (you can also use the lobby widget to do that).
If you’re using Basic view, you won’t have these widgets available. You’ll have to go to step 2 (“Type”) select Rush Poker from there, then proceed with your settings.
Once you’re in the game lobby, you click the “Join Now” button and you’re in the game. The first time you join the game, you’ll be the Big Blind. After that, it’ll always be the player who went the longest without being the BB, who will be it. The Small Blind and the other positions will always be designated at random.
If you want to be taken to another table even faster, all you have to do is to hit the Quickfold button. As soon as you do that (cannot be undone) you’ll be moved. Only your avatar will be left behind to do the folding for you when the action comes around to you.
Believe it or not, even the break-neck paced Rush Poker can be multi tabled. You can join the same Rush Poker game as many times as you want to. The software will make sure you’re never seated at the same table with yourself. If you reckon you need to multi table this baby though, you may end up biting off more than you can chew…
